I am way behind on posting my parties! I have some free time though and thought I’d try and catch up a little and post our last two parties. Baby A wanted a Minnie Mouse party theme for her third birthday. We’ve done a Mickey Mouse birthday before (you can see here how Miss E specifically wanted Mickey and not Minnie) so this was similar but a little more girly!
Here is the invite I created- available for customization!

You’ll notice that most of my parties aren’t grand. Aside from the first birthdays we usually only have family, around 20 people, and keep things small and fairly inexpensive. That doesn’t mean that you can’t have a fun theme and still make it awesome! I love planning parties and even though the majority of people seeing these decorations are family, I still do it because I love it, and I love that my girls have something to look back on. And I share here because I know the majority of us can’t hire a party planner and want to have a smaller party with an awesome theme- so I hope you enjoy!
We kept the theme mostly red, white, and black with a touch of yellow (somehow my house mostly matched!) All of the details will be below:
Our entry way table had my usual chalkboard with a welcome message, bubble favors, and a small banner that I was able to create out of some leftover die cuts from the bubble favors.
The cake was awesome- from a local bakery!
I served shredded beef sandwiches, veggies, fruit and chips (I was still on Whole30 so I adjusted the beef recipe a little, the made sure I could eat the fruit and veggies! This is still my all time favorite shredded beef recipe!)
I made the favors- I purchased bubble wands, die cuts and ribbon and hot glued everything together. I arranged the plates like a Minnie head and tied all of the napkins and utensils like bows.
Using some left over wrapping paper and cardstock I created a small “pin the bow on the Minnie” game for the little ones. It was a lot of fun and every one got bubbles after and headed outside after to run off some energy!
There you have it! I hope this post is helpful for your Minnie Party!
