Last weekend we had Miss E’s 4th Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday party! As I mentioned before, she had a lot of input with her party this year. When deciding on a theme I threw out Frozen and she said, “No! Mickey Mouse”, and never wavered. She helped me pick out her special shirt that we ordered, her ears that she got to wear, and the cake as well as a few other little elements. This girl knew what she wanted!
I feel like I reigned it in this year, but I just love putting these parties together and always have so much fun, so I’m not sure how true that actually is 🙂 I know the photos are more fun that anything I have to say, so we’ll just get straight to that.
Here is the invite (available for customization- click here!)
On our entryway table I had ears for all of the kids, as well as a few extras if any adults wanted to wear them. Miss E specifically requested purple glitter ears without a bow, so she had those as well. I used our chalkboard that was already there to write out “Put on your ears, it’s time for cheers!”.
The little ones all got to take home their ears, as well as a cookie with an initial cookie cutter. The adults all got to take home a Mickey Mouse cookie. I made the cookies again this year and they were so good!
For lunch I had it catered again by the Mexican restaurant that catered for Baby A’s first and it was perfect- and even more important easy! I didn’t get a photo of the whole table, but I also made 7-layer dip and had chips and veggies out. I made Miss E some Disney Junior letters to help decorate the table (tutorial on that to come!)
After lunch we did gifts and let the kids play a bit before dessert.
Cake is always Miss E’s favorite part! The same local bakery made her cake this year as in the past, we had the buttercream filling colored purple for her favorite color. It was super tasty, as always!
Overall it was a great party, Miss E had so much fun and we had a wonderful day with friends and family. She is so blessed to have so many people who love and care for her!
And now for the details! As always I will try and link directly to my place of purchase, if possible. Please note that some links are affiliate links, but of course don’t make a difference when I’m deciding on what to actually purchase.
