Dear Husband, I am ready for you to slow down. This whole business of not being home every night this week until 8pm has really worn on me. Dear Husband, it’s also not fair that you get the lovely screaming happy greeting when I am the one doing all the work! Dear E, see #2 and show mommy some love for crying out loud- literally! Dear Readers, I am starting a new diet and if I happen to be a little grumpy over the next couple of days, I apologize in advance. Dear Isagenix, you better treat me right! I am depending on you to get these last 7lbs of baby weight off! Dear size 8 jeans, I am coming for you!! Dear laundry, this whole tricky multiplying thing you seem to be doing lately? I am over it. Dear Husband, I think you owe me a date night, I would like to go see The Five Year Engagement! Dear Starbucks, it’s time we say goodbye. You see I’ve started this new diet, see #4, and it’s making me leave you. I didn’t want to, but I realize this will be better for my budget and my behind. So it’s goodbye…. for now. Dear Spring, I am enjoying your cool wind with my windows down and sunroof open. Dead Summer, I am not looking forward to you and would appreciate you staying at a distance… I dislike you and your 110 degree weather and your pressure to have a “bikini body” even more. I enjoy my swim-dress, thank you! Dear Readers, you can still ask anything!

Haha – I love this letter and everything about it! I totally feel the same way today.
Very funny! And cute. I do hope your hubby brings you on a sweet date.
Good luck w/ your new diet! You are so close to your goal 🙂
Fun, Steph. I also just know you changed your header (not sure when you did that, maybe ages ago?) to How Sweet This Is. I like the change!
Cute post! As a daddy’s girl myself, I had to laugh about E’s special greeting when her daddy gets home. 🙂 I hope you get your date night. We are in desperate need of one too. Oh right, my MIL is in town tonight. Interesting… Have a great weekend, chica!
Steph- I really want to see The Five Year Engagement too, but I have a long list of movies that I want to see. I still haven’t seen The Hunger Games! I would have a similar letter to my husband. I really don’t like his long work hours, but I’m sure he is tired of them too.
I feel you on the whole husband not being around thing. Mine just finished his first year of law school and i feel like I NEVER saw him. or should I make that see him, he is leaving me for 6 weeks to do an internship! 🙁
your letters made me laugh! 🙂 so good that you are giving up starbucks, that stuff has way more sugar than anything should! I am trying to switch from my morning coffee at home and go strictly to hot green tea with a touch of agave nectar. I have a lot more energy so far and am not so shaky! also, I am starting a heath and fitness series on my blog this wednesday! you will have to check it out! loved your letters, thanks for linking up with me!
xo,
ashley
