One of December’s highlights for us was hosting a Favorite Things Party with many of our closest friends. You may recall how the party works: Each person brings three of the same items and by the end of the night, each guest leaves with three new favorites! There were some definite trending items at this year’s party, so we’re sharing the top five:
- Air Plants and Hanging Vases: Air plants are this year’s favorite garden item. They are lovely little plants that absorb their nutrients from the air, hence the name. You can display these in many ways, but hanging in a delicate glass vase is hard to beat! Find both air plants and hanging vases at The Gardens.
- Knitted Handwarmers: These fingerless mittens keep your hands toasty while still allowing you to text, craft, or even play an instrument! (Fun facts about us: Candace plays the piano, and Steph plays the viola.)
- Stella Rosa Wine: This semi-sweet sparkling wine is perfect for celebrating!
- Mason Jar Tumblers: Three sets of these tumblers appeared at our party, which shows how much we all love them. They’re insulated (perfect for your iced tea or iced coffee), and have a handle. The straw is also large enough to use with a smoothie.
- Orange Works Cafe Giftcards: Orange Works Cafe is a local favorite! While popular for their flavorful ice cream during the hot summer days, you can still stop in during the winter months for a bite to eat or a pastry and coffee!
As always beauty products (lotions, nailpolish, make-up, lipgloss) and candles were a big hit as well!
