Just thought I’d share another quick baby food puree here, this is an easy and pretty obvious one. At our 6 month appointment or pediatrician told us we could start giving E yogurt. He said to start with plain and once she was ok with that, we could start adding things to it or switch to flavored yogurt. She really likes the plain yogurt, and I didn’t really see any reason to give her flavored yogurt and add the extra sugar, but I do like adding some fresh fruits.
I had some fresh peaches, so I peeled them and added them to some plain, full fat, yogurt in our mini-processor and blended them up, no cooking necessary.
I don’t usually freeze these quick purees, mainly because I don’t have enough, but I also don’t know that they are suitable for freezing. I will have to do some research on that.
One peach and a couple of tablespoons of yogurt gets me one jar for breakfast the next couple of days!

Oh my goodness…this looks wonderful. They had freshly picked peaches at our local farmers market and I passed them over but now I’m seriously hoping they are back again this week so I can make this for my baby girl. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Wait, wait, wait. This was your first post that showed up in my reader sine early last week. How strange! I’m gonna keep an eye on it, but maybe I’ll need to re-follow like you had to with me! – Anyway, looks like you’ve been having fun…at the zoo, at the baseball game…what wonderful summer memories! Hope you are well and enjoying this week so far.~
