I don’t have a lot of decor that I put up year-round aside from Thanksgiving and Christmas. While looking at a couple of different crafty blogs I came across a Valentines Heart Felt Wreath that I loved… it looked so simple, so I thought I would give it a try!
Here’s what you need:
1 Styrofoam heart (any crafty store should carry this)
1 yard of rd felt or fleece
Push Pins
Scissors
Take your yard of felt and cut circles, mine were about 3-4 inches in diameter. You can make a template and cut each circle exactly, but I am just not that patient. I cut all of the fabric into squares, about 4×4, then cut circles from those (2 pieces at a time).
After you have all of your circles cut, take a circle, fold it in half, once then twice… you will end up with a pie shape. Then push the pin through the point of the felt pie shape and place it into your heart. From there just keep repeating that pattern, folding and pinning. As you go you will be able to adjust and fill in where you need. No need to put anything on the back, it will lay flat without anything.
After you have completed all of the placement of felt, attach a piece of ribbon to the top for hanging.
Enjoy!

you made that??? Love it! I don’t have any valentine’s decorations. But i’ve seen a lot of nice ones today!
So cute! You’re so crafty! (I meant that as in Martha Stewart crafty, not sneaky devil crafty.)
What a cute heart! Well done!
