A few weeks ago we celebrated Baby A’s second birthday. While trying to come up with a theme I went back and forth on a few, Mickey Mouse and Frozen, but finally settled on a little fox woodland animals party. Last summer while we were camping she picked up this little fox stuffed lovie and hasn’t put it down since, she sleeps with it and takes it everywhere! It was a perfect theme for her.
Her invite was one of my favorite yet. I bought a clipart package and came up with the perfect little invite to showing her super cute photo and fun little animal party on the bottom.
(This invite is available for customization at How Sweet Designs)
I carried the theme through to our decor in the table. I had a simple silver banner hanging on the mantel. It was surprisingly hard to find a simple silver happy birthday banner, so I was super excited to find this customizable banner at Target. It worked great!
I kept a candy pink and sage green color theme. I bought a moss table runner to bring a little outside in, borrowed a friends little bird stands, and used a birch frame I had to feature a super cute photo of baby A.
For food I served my favorite shredded beef sandwiches, chips, pasta salad and veggies.
For dessert instead of the usual cake I decided to make cupcakes and cupcake toppers to add to the theme.
She sang Happy Birthday to herself, I love when my girl do that!
Finally, For favors I made little deconstructed s’more goodie bags that I hear were a bit hit with the little kids!
